Builders, Spring Sprang, Sprung, has drawn comparison to the Jayhawks, Cracker, Counting Crows, and Alejandro Escovedo, but Builder has a sound that is as unique as the quirky vocals of frontman Mike Crawford. Crawford’s depth of perception, potent songwriting skill, and his penchant for entertaining live shows makes a case for him to be compared to the godfather of 'hope-out-of-darkness' songwriters, Bill Malonee (Vigilantes of Love).
